Dermot Smyth is an Irish contemporary landscape artist who has a long standing interest in the rural landscape. His paintings are not landscapes in the traditional sense, but focus on objects that are so common place that they have become invisible.
​Dermot has exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy's annual exhibition, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition, and the Royal Scottish Academy's Annual Exhibition. His paintings are held in private collections in
Ireland, the UK, and the US.
